New & Transfer Student Behind-the-Wheel
You completed the classroom somewhere else and ONLY need behind the wheel.
Service Description
The required 6 hours of behind the wheel is part of the 36 hour driver's education program for new drivers. Book your first Behind the Wheel here IF you completed the classroom portion of driver's education at another driving school. You will use the other Behind the Wheel tab to book lessons 2 and 3. You will be required to show your classroom completion record and provide a copy of your permit. This is how you should book your behind the wheel sessions: Session 1: 0-20 hours completed with your driving coach Session 2: 30-40 hours completed with your driving coach Session 3: All driving hours completed **Please note: we reserve the right to require additional drives if the student doesn't demonstrate improvement with the skills we are assessing and/or they do not score an 80% or better on the final evaluation. After the 3rd drive, if additional sessions are required, the student will have to book them through the Private Driving Lesson tab.
Cancellation Policy
New drivers under 25 are REQUIRED to complete 60 practice hours with a supervising driver (parent or driving coach). Behind the Wheel is scheduled in tiers: 0-20 hours: Lesson 1 40 hours: Lesson 2 60 hours: Lesson 3 Students should NOT schedule a behind the wheel lesson without having the appropriate hours. On the day of your lesson: -no need to come inside; your instructor will likely already be at the instructor vehicle -instructor vehicles will be on the fire station side of the building -bring your unexpired learner's permit -wear closed toe and closed heel shoes (sneakers, flats, etc.) please avoid Crocs, slides, and flip flops -Behind the Lessons DO NOT count towards your 60 hours You may cancel 24+ hours-2 hours before the session without being charged a fee. Cancelling less than 2 hours before your session will result in a $50 cancellation fee. No call, no show= $75 cancellation fee. Fees must be paid before you are able to schedule a new lesson.
