Not every new driver is truly ready just because they have a license—and as a parent, you can usually tell. Our New Driver Refresher Intensive is designed for teen and new drivers (licensed 2 years or less) or not yet licensed but eligible to take the test, who need additional support, more practice, and stronger decision-making skills behind the wheel. This program is ideal if: Your teen was licensed, but you’ve noticed unsafe or inconsistent driving habits They’ve already received a ticket or attended driver improvement—and you want to prevent it from happening again They rush, hesitate, or seem unsure in real driving situations You don’t feel fully confident when they’re driving independently They’ve said, “I don’t feel ready” They’re late-stage permit holders preparing for their road test and need a final skill boost At Green Light Driving Academy, we believe driver’s education doesn’t stop at licensing. That’s often where the real learning begins. This intensive focuses on correcting habits, strengthening awareness, and building confident, responsible drivers through real-world application—not just repetition. Your teen will receive: A driving evaluation to identify risky habits and skill gaps Targeted, behind-the-wheel coaching focused on real driving scenarios Reinforcement of defensive driving, awareness, and decision-making Support with key skills like lane changes, intersections, parking, and traffic flow Honest, constructive feedback in a structured and supportive environment We meet drivers where they are—whether they’re overconfident, underconfident, or somewhere in between—and guide them toward safer, more responsible driving.
